Dr. Robert Cook
Dr. Cook graduated from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. He continued his education at the University of Illinois and Texas A&M University. While enlisted in the United States Military he completed a fellowship in Pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. Cook served in assignments that included Chief of Infectious Disease and Preventative Medicine for Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He is a veteran of both Vietnam and Desert Storm. He has also been Adjunct Professor at Texas A&M University and has authored several scientific papers. He has a son, Sean, a physician, and a wife Sandy, a registered nurse. His interestes include scuba diving and gardening.
Dr. Nicolae Mut
Dr. Mut graduated from the prestigious Dr. Petru Gronza Institute of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. He then honed his skills at various reputable veterinary hospitals in Calgary, Canada and Aiken, South Carolina before settling in Sumter, SC. He is married with one son. His hobbies include aviation, fishing, soccer, and spending time with is family as well as his cat, Turbo.
Dr. Jocelyn Newell
We are happy to welcome Dr. Jocelyn Newell to our ranks. Dr. Newell graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Originally from Massachusetts, she enjoys cross-fit, hiking and camping, and reading. Dr. Newell spends most of her free time with her rescue cats, her golden retriever, and her husband, Jeff.
